Workers for Freedom Cream Pointed Collar and Cuff Shirt
Workers for Freedom Cream Pointed Collar and Cuff Shirt
A wonderful shirt from Workers for Freedom featuring unusual pointed cuffs and collar with 2 points at back and two at front. Closed down front by silver metal buttons in varying sizes with a single button at cuff. Pleats fall down body parallel to the button placket giving the shirt an a-line cut. Elbow is darted shaping the sleeve.
Graham Fraser and Richard Nott launched their company, Workers for Freedom in 1985, leaving behind their respective former careers as merchandising manager for fashion and accessories at Liberty in London and principal fashion lecturer at Kingston University. The company name was chosen to emphasise what they saw as their freedom from the large companies for whom they had previously worked. Workers for Freedom won designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 1990.
