Timney Fowler was a British textile company run by Sue Timney and Grahame Fowler. This is part of their brief collaboration with Go Silk.
Incorporated in 1985; Timney Fowler worked within the Japanese market for print design and consultancy. Some of their first clients included Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto. Miyake buying almost the entirety of their first textile collection.
Timney Fowler's distinctive designs draw on the rich symbolism of European art. Neo-classical, architectural and Egyptian images are placed together in unexpected ways to create modern prints.
