Romeo Gigli Casadei 1990 Green Leaf Shoes

Green canvas with leaf shapes which cradle the ankle. The front of the shoe is split in two parts and it is closed at front with a tie pulling two leaves together. 

Romeo Gigli worked with Casadei to create the dream shoes for his early collections, in my opinion some of the most beautiful ever made. To find a pair from this era is rare, let alone a pair which has never been worn and is in such good condition.

Fabric composition is cotton canvas with leather sole and inner.

Size 38 1/2 

Length of the internal sole is 26cm 

Width at widest point 8cm

Condition - Very good! unworn condition. Some darkening where the canvas is glued to the interior leather which is consistent with other pairs I have seen.
