Lecoanet Hemant Couture Pale Green Silk Skirt
Lecoanet Hemant Couture Pale Green Silk Skirt
Lecoanet Hemant Couture Pale Green Silk Skirt
Pale blue green silk lower layer which is hand embroidered with clear iridescent sequins in circle and oblong shapes. This layer is covered by a cream silk georgette which is sheer allowing a muted iridescence to shine through, reminiscent of the scales of a fish as they catch the light.. A strip of sequins runs down vertically from the waist on the top cream layer.
Beautifully constructed to the highest standards of which Lecoanet Hemant are known. An ethereal and magical piece.
Lecoanet Hemant was founded in Paris by Didier Lecoanet and Indo-German Hemant Sagar in the early Eighties and focussed primarily on Haute Couture – they opened their first shop on Faubourg Saint Honoré just opposite the Elysée Palace. After showing the first collection with Cartier Haute Joaillerie they became members of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, the governing body of High Fashion.
