A poetic pre raphaelites dream in silky mauve velvet. Long sleeve, fitted empire-line bust and zip closure at back. Bodice is lined.
IDOL was a London based label known for its luxurious textiles and hand embroidery, it was stocked at Charivari, L'eclaireur and Liberty Department Store but they also had their own store in Soho. IDOL garments were worn in Absolutely Fabulous and fans include Cher, Paula Yates, Helena Bonham Carter and Marilyn Manson. 'Marilyn Manson bought a cotton tulle white cap sleeve embroidered top'.

Condition very good. To note - the velvet pile slightly lies against grain in some parts this is most notable at the back at the seat - refer to images. This does not take away from the overall effect of the silk velvet.
