Culture Shock Koji Tatsuno Pale Pink Grey Linen Jacquard Jacket
Cut in the style of a fencing jacket and constructed of high quality linen with impecable finishing inline with Koji Tatsuno's Saville Row training. Button closure on shoulder and down one side. Small manadrin collar. Unusual grey cross hatch design lining. This is a very rare piece from Koji Tatsuno's early label Culture Shock.
Koji Tatsuno first visited the Uk on antiques sourcing trip in 1982. A chance meeting at the boutique Browns, where he was noticed for a shirt he had made out of an antique kimono, lead to his first order.
Koji Tatsuno joined Jeannie McArthur and Yuzuru Koga who created the label Culture Shock. Tatsuno trained at Saville Row and established a boutique in London with backing from Yohji Yamamoto. Culture Shock’s pieces were known for combining refined tailoring with antique Japanese textiles.
