Kaat Tilley Layered Lichen Effect Jacket 

Cream open weave with brown and grey mottled wool poking through. The organic effect looking like a lichen or the trunk of a birch tree, such a fantastic imaginative textile.

Top layer is a waistcoat with closes with a tie, the underlayer is long sleeve and has an invisible zip through the front. Interior is finished with dark green binding.

Kaat Tilley is a Belgian Flemish designer known for her ethereal romantic and otherworldly designs. Her designs have been described as being midway between fashion and art. Particularly of note is her imaginative use of unusual textiles, her structural use of binding and her unconventional pattern cutting - it is rare to see a straight line in Kaat Tilley's work. Through her designs she created her own magical world and to own and wear her garments is to be transported there. 

Textile is a cotton, acetate and I believe wool.
